391: aboutWhat is 391?

Contact us: submit [at] 391.org

391 was first published by the poet and artist Francis Picabia in 1917 and was a bridge between the Zürich dadaists, French surrealists, Marcel Duchamp and others. For a good overview of the original magazine see this translated text by Rémi Froger.

391.org continues to experiment but with the use of multi/digital/'new'-media. We are interested in your ideas for single pieces or full issues. Send ideas and pieces up to 1MB in size to submit [at] 391.org. For pieces larger then 1MB please use a service such as wetransfer.
